I am in love with the name and the lipstick both. Name sweet kiss in rose delicate itself suggest a delicate rosy pink shade. This is one of those shades which will go well with all the skin tones. With the swatches you will be able to judge it as well.

 

 

 

Texture of the lipstick is creamy and moisturizing, however not gluey. It gives a decent coverage to pigmented lips as well. If applied one coat then it is quite soft pink, however you can also apply 2-3 coats to get a medium dark shade. Shade looks different on skin and lips. It’s a shade darker on lips. Bourjois claims that it is 100% natural. it has a very slight smell of lemon tea. But then it goes after some time.

 

I am absolutely in love with its packaging. It has such a nice packaging with a knob to pull and the lipstick then comes out, which makes it a best one to carry with you without any worries. Its comes in a pink case which is quite girlie and sober as well. you can see the shade on one corner of the lipstick as well.

This lasts for 2-3 hours and then you can feel a little tint of it on your lips. So you cannot expect a 6 hour stay from this. If you need that then you will have to get a touch up done.

 

It is a Bourjois so has to be bit heavy on pocket, but these days I don’t find any cheaper lipstick brands. This sweet kiss range has a variety of 8 colors however I own only this shade yet and not tried others. But yes I would love to try other shades  as they look quite pretty in pictures.

 

If you are a girl who likes pink lips, then this is a must for you. It goes well with western wear as well as traditional. You can apply it when you do not want too much attention on your lips. (People will give attention but then I mean you don’t want to go bit loud on lips) Very young and adorable color, just love it. . A big Muahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh to this lipstick from me.

Review & swatches : L'oreal Paris Superliner 24 Hour Waterproof Gel Liner – 01 Black

24 hour waterproof Gel Liner, does it actually last that longer??? This was the first question that came to my mind when I first saw this Gel Liner. But then 2^nd question was do I really need a liner put on for 24 hour….Nay. But then yes I must admit it does stay on for the entire day without any smudging and any touch ups. So yes it definitely lives up to the name.

You know I wanted to get a nice Gel liner, matte and dark, I mean very dark black. It comes in a very attractive packaging. You get a brush with the tiny small jar filled with liner. You get 2.8 grams of product for a good 750 bucks. Though it may be a bit difficult for newbies to apply liner with this brush, practice will help you get you create a perfectly smooth line. I took a little time for me to get my hand perfect with this also. So don’t get disheartened or think this is not meant for you.

This is actually a good product and fulfills all the promises it makes. It is a dark black shade. It may not look that dark black in the pictures but it is much darker than what you can see in the pictures. It does not wash out with water and you have to invest on a makeup remover or you can also use coconut oil to remove it.

I have often heard of people complaining about gel liner that they gets dry very soon. I have this for more than 8 months and did not see any change in the formulation. It is still smooth and pigmented.

I find it perfect for my eyes because I have sensitive eyes and I cannot apply all the products to the water line. Sometimes I have to use a kohl pencil on the water line and a liner on the outer corners. However with this product life has become easier for me and I don’t have to invest in 2 products. This product claims that it is dermatologically tested, safe for eyes and safe for contact lens. I don’t use contact lens so cannot tell you how it feels when applied after wearing lenses. But then yes it definitely does not give any irritation to sensitive eyes even if wore for the entire day.

I feel it is a great product for daily as well as occasional use. You can draw thin as well as thick lines with it and It will help you get that simple Indian or dramatic look for your eyes.

Lakme Fast & Fabulous – One Stroke Nail Color – Review and Swatches

Lakme says: Go glamorous with this quick drying nail paint that sets in just 40 seconds. It comes with a unique flat brush that glides effortlessly over nails to give you an immaculate finish, in just one stroke.

My first review on the blog, thought a lot what should I talk about. Then I realized why not a nail color. Almost every girl likes to have a nice nail color. I have seen my Mom, sister, aunt and even Dadi (Grand Ma), applying colors on their nails.

This new range of Lakme Fast & Furious………..sorry I mean Fast & Fabulous. This name always reminds me of that movie. I don’t know if you liked the movie but I liked this nail paint a lot. It is actually that fast or can say faster. This nail paint gets dry in less than 40 second. So if you are like me who always mess up the nail color and think Oh God, why does it take this long for the nail color to dry, then you should definitely try this.

Though all the colors are bright and eye catching, my favorite is shade # 27, Crimson Fire. It is a bright red colored paint.  If you are looking for a nice red color which any one can use, this is one of those.

Packaging is cool. It is a big rectangular bottle. It has a wide flat brush which actually helps in one stroke application. However I must say 1 stroke will not give you that good finish, so you may have to apply an extra coat.

It lasted for 2days and then started chipping off. So one cannot expect too much longetivity from this nail paint. If you like changing your nail color every day or 2 then Fast & fabulous is Fabulous for you.
